Porsche: 3,000+ Forms Migrated to Sitecore XM Cloud at 10x Velocity
Porsche needed to move its global dealer network off Sitecore XP. Kajoo.ai turned a form-by-form rebuild into a governed, automated migration factory.

The challenge
Porsche operates around 400 dealer websites worldwide. Each one runs five to six lead-generation forms: test drives, quotes, service bookings, and general inquiries. On Sitecore XP with MVC-based Forms, every change was slow, inconsistent, and expensive to roll out.
Moving to XM Cloud solved the platform problem but created a migration problem. XM Cloud Forms is not a drop-in replacement for XP Forms. There is no official bulk migration utility and no public API for creating forms, so the default path was rebuilding more than 3,000 forms by hand, each one required to meet Porsche's standards for accessibility, privacy, localization, and analytics.
How Kajoo.ai delivered
Map once, apply everywhere
Kajoo.ai inventoried the full form estate and grouped it into canonical blueprints for the core journeys: Test Drive, Quote, Service, and General Contact. Its universal language, a structured format that represents layout, styling, integrations, and CMS bindings, served as the intermediary between the XP source and the XM Cloud target. Field types, validations, conditional logic, and submission behavior were mapped once to XM Cloud Forms constructs, then applied consistently across every variant.
Automate around the API gap
With no public creation APIs available, Kajoo.ai was configured to call internal XM Cloud APIs directly, in a controlled and support-aware way. Form creation ran as long-running scripts in remote sandboxes with full observability and durable execution. When a job failed, it retried automatically instead of stalling the program.
Put humans at the decision points
Every form passed a human-in-the-loop gate before going live. Kajoo.ai's per-action approval policies required sign-off on accessibility (WCAG), privacy and consent, localization, and analytics tagging. Reviewers handled approvals across the whole program from a single Notification Center, so governance didn't turn into a bottleneck.
Enforce the brand across markets
Kajoo.ai's design system held Porsche's tokens for color, typography, spacing, breakpoints, and components, so generated output respected brand styling and layout by default. Local teams kept authoring flexibility inside those guardrails, while custom roles and granular permissions controlled who could change what, and where.
Results
- 10x program velocity. Standing up and evolving dealer experiences accelerated through automation and reusable blueprints.
- 3,000+ forms modernized. Every XP form was translated to XM Cloud Forms with standardized validations, consent, analytics, and localization.
- Platform limits, overcome. Kajoo.ai automated form creation at scale even though XM Cloud offered no public creation APIs.
- Governed at global scale. Brand and compliance guardrails were enforced across every market, and regional teams retained the flexibility to author locally.
- Built for what's next. The migrated estate aligns with the XM Cloud roadmap, which keeps bespoke upgrade work to a minimum.
